Recap of Saturday Night Live: Scarily humorous Halloween episode hosted by Nate Bargatze

He was there every day staying late, fully committed to being part of the process, but I don’t think the show showcased his talent very well.”

When a stand-up like Bargatze takes the stage tonight, what can spectators expect? I asked Gary. He said, “A stand-up is the host that the writers feel most free with.” There’s a sense that since whatever they do will be funny, there’s no reason to restrict it. Stand-up comedians are skilled at delivering a joke, thus they are always aware of the humorous theme of a sketch. Eddie Murphy and George Carlin were the best examples when I was on the show. They both went beyond simple categorization, yet regardless of what they were doing, they understood the humour.

So, what were your thoughts ! My opinion? Fantastic episode—among their best in a very long time.)
